FUN, HIGH IMPACT EVENT!
PackaPalooza is a yearly food packing event that takes place during the United Way's Day of Caring. Volunteers work together in teams to pack nutritious meals for those in need. Last year 400 volunteers came out to pack over 115,000 meals! The meals are then distributed to food pantries across Lake County to help feed the nearly 80,000 people in the county struggling with hunger. You can help make a difference by either putting together a team, signing up as an individual, or sponsoring a team to participate in this year's PackaPalooza.
WHY GET INVOLVED?
PackaPalooza is a high energy, high impact event that's fun for everyone. It's a great team building activity for workplaces, community organizations, churches, or groups of family or friends. You can also meet some new friends by participating as an individual!
