COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT FOR THE COMMON GOOD

Tocqueville SocietyThe Tocqueville Society recognizes philanthropic leaders who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to creating lasting, positive change in our community through generous financial support. Named after 19th century French political thinker and historian Alexis de Tocqueville, the Society reflects his belief in the power of voluntary action and community engagement for the common good.

Through the Tocqueville Society, local leaders come together to strengthen our community, build meaningful connections, and support solutions that improve the lives of children and families across Northwest Indiana. Members have opportunities to engage with fellow philanthropists, learn more about the issues impacting our region, and be part of conversations that inspire action and lasting impact.

Members of our local Tocqueville Society also become part of Tocqueville United through United Way Worldwide, connecting them to a global network of philanthropic leaders dedicated to advancing communities around the world.

More details about our local Tocqueville Society, membership opportunities, and upcoming engagement events will be coming soon.
